Chamber of Hollow Fields

Project Description

”Chamber of Hollow Fields” is a video-installation constructed from strips of cheesecloth hung in layers from the ceiling. Through these layers a 30-minute, pre-rendered computer- animation is projected in a loop via DVD players. The layering of calibrated animations creates a sense of an artificial, three-dimensional space through which the audience may move freely. The audio component of the piece is made up of a collage of spatial field-recordings and the music of published computer musician, Andrew Kozloski (aka Vorpal).
