Combining ten years of commercial videogame production experience with a practice in the fine arts, Paul Warne is a designer exploring the connections between technology, creativity and play.

Paul’s work as a Level Designer includes AAA videogame titles  “Psychonauts”, “Assassin’s Creed” and “Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory” at studios Doublefine Productions, Lucas Learning and Ubisoft Entertainment.

His interactive installations have been exhibited at the 2010 CODE Festival, Carnegie Mellon University, La Societe des Arts Technologiques [SAT] , La Maison de la Culture Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Montreal’s ArtPop & Nuit Blanche festivals.  He has published articles on game design and culture for industry journals and currently teaches videogame design at Champlain College.

Paul is co-founder and creative director at Hololabs Studio, a development company specializing in augmented reality applications and experiences.
